Field Day is This Saturday, July 31st

Come out this Saturday, July31st and help get our club fields ready for the fall 2010 season.  The work party begins at 8am.  We will be laying out and painting each field along with locating goals.  Remember, "many hands make light work".  This is a chance to work off those "required" volunteer hours.

Wanted: U12 & U14 Players. Win a $25 Referral Reward

There are openings for additional players in the U12 and U14 "Recreational Coed Soccer" program.  If on 8/1/10 your player will be 10 to 13 years of age then there are openings in the fall 2010 Recreational Soccer program.  Proceed to Registration immediately since openings are limited on a "first registered" basis. We’re in desperate need of at least 6 more U14 players, as we will have to turn away existing registered players due to inadequate team size. To provide some incentive we’re offering a $25 referral reward to any currently registered player (in any age group) who refers a U14 player(12 or 13 years of age prior to 8/1/10) to us. Simply have the player you refer register online and enter "Referred By: " in the comments or special notes section of the registration process.

Fall 2010 Registration is complete.

Registration for the fall season is complete.  Teams have been formed and uniforms ordered.  Coaches will receive their rosters and practice times the week of July 27th.  They will begin contacting players in days following the coaches meeting.  BYSL game schedules will be released August 14th.  In-house game schedules will be available August 9th.

Please visit our "frequently asked questions" section for more details.

IMPORTANT NOTE -

Competitive Soccer - several competitive teams have openings for interested players.  Contact the compcoordinator@psjSoccer.com for details.

Recreational Soccer - Openings for additional players in the U12 and U14 "Recreational Coed Soccer" program.  If your player will be at least 10 years old on or before August 1, 2000 but NOT 14 years old on or before August 1, 1996 then there are openings in the fall 2010 Recreational Soccer program.  Proceed to Registration immediately since openings are limited on a "first registered" basis.

Is Your Company Interested In Supporting Our Organization?

If you have a child playing at our club we’re sure you would agree that we offer a great value. Over the years we’ve managed to keep our registration fees the lowest in the county, while at the same time providing a great soccer experience for our kids.

The heart of our organization are the volunteers and local businesses who give of their time and treasure to support us. Our thanks go out to each and every one of them.

As we begin planning for the Fall 2010 season we’re looking for business community members to help make our upcoming season the best ever. Might the company you work for be interested in helping, and receiving a free advertising banner hung at the park as a sign of our appreciation? Why not ask your manager and find out? It’s a great way to support the youth of our community. If your company would like to donate please contact our donations coordinator or download the sponsor form here. We would be glad to assist you.

A Few Reminders About Club Rules And Safety

While visiting our facility, either during training sessions or match days, we need  your full cooperation in the following areas:

Please do not move the goals or the player benches.  These are heavy and have been placed where they need to be.  It is not necessary that either be moved.

Please make certain that all goals are anchored.  This is the responsiblity of EVERYONE.  We do not want to see anyone injured from goals falling over.  If you see a goal that is not anchored, take action and anchor it.  If you need assistance, contact a board member and let them know immediately.

Should the weather become unfavorable, listen to the announcement that is made.  If lightning is in the area we will clear the fields.  When the fields are cleared, EVERYONE must leave the area and wait in their cars until the "all clear" is given.  We will wait a minimum of 30 minutes after a lightning strike is detected before allowing play (training or matches) to resume.  Remember, the weather changes quickly - please wait it out, we will try to resume as soon as it is safe to do so.

All players, during training sessions and on match days must have on their shin guards.  Socks MUST also be worn OVER the shin guards.  This is a mandatory part of the equipment necessary to participate.  Please make sure that on match days that all players wear the complete uniform that the club provides.  This includes the provided socks and shorts.

Animals are not allowed in the park, unless they are service dogs.

Smoking areas are provided outside of the fences.

Please help us make this a great season by cooperating in these areas.

Thanks
